Andrew is a Denver-based musician and artist. An active performer, Andrew is principal percussionist of the Greeley Philharmonic and performs regularly with the Colorado Symphony and the Boulder Philharmonic orchestras. Andrew is an awarded watercolor artist, and a signature member of CWS. His art has been shown in exhibitions including those hosted by CWS and WFWS. He holds a Bachelor of Music and Certificate in Performance from the University of Denver and a Master of Music and Artist Diploma from Duquesne University.

Beatrice lives in Morrison, Colorado. She received a B.A. in Design from UC Berkeley. She works in watercolor, oil, and acrylic, both abstract and representational. Her love of the Southwest and her travels throughout the world have influenced her paintings which uniquely capture her sense of patterns, texture, and color in her subject matter -- whether it be the grandeur of a canyon, birds sunning themselves on a rocky coast, or the busy street life of an Asian market. Her work is found in corporate and private collections, has been juried into various state and national exhibitions, and has won awards.

Although Bronwen has spent her professional life as a teacher and in sales, she has always had the need to be creative.  Bronwen Jones is a painter of memories.  Every painting is a story of a place, person or event.  She works from her home studio in Centennial, Colorado, painting from her travels both local and abroad.   She has taken workshops from many nationally- known artists and enjoys learning and experimenting with new techniques. She enjoys the process of planning, choosing colors and mapping out her painting. Her paintings have won awards in both local and national shows and have sold both nationally and internationally. Bronwen Jones is a Signature member of the Colorado Watercolor Society, member of the Pikes Peak Watercolor Society and associate member of NWS.  She has served on the board of the Colorado Watercolor Society as Corresponding Secretary, Librarian and is currently the Treasurer.

Jeremy has always sketched everywhere he went, but had no art classes until Architecture School at the University of Washington. Over 500 projects left little time for art, but he won a show in 1968 and an abstract painting went to a permanent collection in Washington, D.C. in 1972. He also won the Arizona Architects Medal and was Central Arizona AIA President. In the last ten years he found time to watercolor and became President of the Arizona Watercolor Association. As CWS and WFWS Signature member, he is also a CWS Board Member and Editor of Collage.

Kathy is a retired attorney. She has been painting since high school and received a Certificate from the School of Botanic Art and Illustration at the Denver Botanic Gardens. Her paintings have been exhibited in a number of exhibits including those sponsored by CWS, WFWS, Foothills Center for the Arts, the Denver Botanical Gardens and the Filoli Gardens. Kathy has taught watercolor classes at the Lakewood Arts Council and drawing classes at the Ken Caryl Recreation center. She lives with her husband in Littleton, CO.

Becky began her artist’s journey by noticing the beauty of nature: "How many colors are there in a cloud?" She became interested in exploring watercolor painting in her adult life, and studied with Chuck Danford for several years. His eye for beauty in nature inspired Becky. She is the Treasurer for Mountainside Art Guild, and also the chair for their annual miniature art show. Becky have been a CWS member for many years and is a signature member. She look forward to being the director of workshops and bringing notable artists to share their knowledge and experience with CWS.

Jay has been painting for most of his life.  He has no formal art education.  He credits any talent he may have due to attending CWS workshops, demos, and critiques. He loves the spontaneity and freshness of watercolor. Jay’s subject is almost always landscapes, particularly of Colorado mountains.   He has been in many plein air festivals and is a signature member of CWS and the Western Federation of Watercolor Societies. Jay is our CWS Parliamentarian due to his legal background.  He was a judge for 28 years. Previously he practiced law and taught in both Colorado law schools.

Terrie was born in Greeley, Colorado and currently resides in Arvada. She studied watercolor at the University of Northern Colorado. After retiring from 35 years of public service, Terrie began pursuing a full-time career in watercolor. Terrie had her first solo exhibition in 2004 and has since exhibited her work both locally and nationally. Terrie has received numerous awards and is a signature member of the Colorado Watercolor Society, and a member of the Arvada Fine Art Guild and Park Hill Art League. Terrie’s passion for nature is her greatest influencer. She hopes her work inspires others to protect and cherish the fragile beauty of the world around us.
