PresidentAndrew FerdigAndrew is a Denver-based musician and artist. An active performer, Andrew is principal percussionist of the Greeley Philharmonic and performs regularly with the Colorado Symphony and the Boulder Philharmonic orchestras. Andrew is an awarded watercolor artist, and a signature member of CWS. His art has been shown in exhibitions including those hosted by CWS and WFWS. He holds a Bachelor of Music and Certificate in Performance from the University of Denver and a Master of Music and Artist Diploma from Duquesne University. | Vice President / Program DirectorBeatrice Trautman

| Workshop DirectorRebecca Near![]() Becky began her artist’s journey by noticing the beauty of nature: "How many colors are there in a cloud?" She became interested in exploring watercolor painting in her adult life, and studied with Chuck Danford for several years. His eye for beauty in nature inspired Becky. She is the Treasurer for Mountainside Art Guild, and also the chair for their annual miniature art show. Becky have been a CWS member for many years and is a signature member. She look forward to being the director of workshops and bringing notable artists to share their knowledge and experience with CWS. |
