RANDY HALE WATERCOLOR WORKSHOP- PAINTING WITH PIZAZZ!

Have you ever wondered why some paintings are “knock-out great” and manage to dazzle…while others don’t? I’ve always thought watercolor is best served in splashy, spontaneous strokes. It yearns to be transparent and luminous. Fluidity ought to be the hallmark of watercolor. Do you allow yourself to paint with abandon? Or are you more concerned about how each brushstroke should be applied? Being confident and bold with the brush is important, but so is letting water do the work. Come discover ways to loosen up, make dynamic strokes, and have fun as we embrace the joy of painting!
We’ll be working with a variety of subjects over three days – from whimsical to abstract – attention will be given to design and composition, how to make informed decisions about color, temperature, and dominance in finding out way toward more powerful painting.

Workshop fees are $350 for CWS members and $400 for non-members (or members with lapsed membership dues). Board members $262.50

If online registration is closed before the deadline, it is because the workshop is full, but please register for the waiting list. (The waiting list usually gets called, as there often are some cancellations by participants.)
