All paintings shown in CWS exhibitions must adhere to the following framing guidelines:

• Maximum art size: 22"x30"
• Minimum art size: 80 square inches
• Frames must have picture wire
• All art must be under plexiglass OR must be sealed with an acrylic based varnish or waterproof wax
• Artwork sealed with varnish or wax may not be matted and must be framed in a manner similar to an oil painting. 
• Artwork NOT sealed with varnish or wax must be matted
• Mats must be white
• Minimum mat width on the narrowest side must be 3"
• Colored liners or fillets are permitted, though may be no larger than 1/4"
• Paintings delivered with chipped, cracked, damaged, dirty, or improper presentation will not be hung.
